			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft" title="Gretsch" src="http://www.bluesmasterguitars.com/images/antiqueGretsch2.jpg" alt="" width="360" height="480" />Features a carved spruce top, arched maple back, maple sides, two f-holes, tortoiseshell celluloid binding, three-piece maple neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with various symmetrical inlays, rounded top headstock with clipped edges, large fern pattern inlay, three-per-side tuners, stair-step bridge, harp tailpiece, raised pickguard that extends below the bridge.  These were available in Natural or Sunburst finish, 16 in. body width, 24.5 in. scale, manufactured 1939-1955. <strong>Series History:</strong> In 1946, a double bound top and back, bound pickguard, and bound f-holes were introduced, the fingerboard inlays were changed to large blocks, and the headstock changed to an unbound rounder design with the &#8220;Synchromatic&#8221; logo.  In 1947, the headstock became bound with a rounded top design. In 1949, the Synchromatic was assigned the Model 6014 number and Sunburst finish became standard. In 1951, Natural finish became available again and was assigned the Model 6015 number. In 1952, binding was removed from the f-holes, headstock, and pickguard. In 1955, the Synchromatic 100 was renamed the Corsair.<br />

<p>Spruce Top, Mahogany Back, Sides &amp; Neck.  Face of the guitar has been put back to Natural.  These guitars were originally shipped in a Tobacco Sunburst Finish.  New re-issue Kluson tuning machines have been installed for optimal play.  The original machines still come with the guitar. The guitar plays very well.  The original Archtop Case comes with the purchase. </p>
