 1968 Gretsch Viking :  Dbl rounded cutaway hollow bound maple body. 21 fret bound ebony fretboard with pearl thumbnail inlays. Bound blackface headstock .  2 SuperTron Pickups with control layout #3 (3 knobs, 3 switches). Bigsby Tremelo. This guitar is in beautiful condition, recently flushed all electronics and performed  maintenance.

In 1949, the Synchromatic was assigned the Model 6014 number and Sunburst finish became standard. In 1951, Natural finish became available again and was assigned the Model 6015 number. In 1952, binding was removed from the f-holes, headstock, and pickguard. In 1955, the Synchromatic 100 was renamed the Corsair.

Original Archtop Case

Spruce Top, Mahogany Back, Sides & Neck.  Face of the guitar has been put back to Natural.  These guitars were originally shipped in a Tobacco Sunburst Finish.  New re-issue Kluson tuning machines have been installed for optimal play.  The original machines still come with the guitar. The guitar plays very well.  The original Archtop Case comes with the purchase.
